September 23 - just let it go

The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.

Steve Maraboli

Letting go is not an easy thing to do, but it is the only way we can move forward. People and times are always changing, so what was once right for us changes too.  We can't stay stuck in a past because it’s all changed.

If we’re are unhappy in our current circumstances then something must change.  We need to let go of the old and start something new. What used to be right, isn’t right anymore.

The same as holding on to anger resentment and hatred will not only hold you back but block your present blessings and opportunities, You’ ve just got to drop somethings to move forward.

Positive change happens as result of letting go and is the end result of learning.  If you aren’t learning, you’re simply dying slowly.

Holding on is like believing that there is only a past; letting go and moving on is knowing in your heart that there’s a bright future ahead.

We need to trust our intuition , to learn as we go, to realize that every experience has value, and to continue take positive steps forward every day.

Don’t worry about things you can’t change, but focus on what you can do.If you can’t change something you don’t like, change the way you think about it. You are the only one in control of your attitude.Your life is your responsibility, no one else.  You are the only person that can make change happen.

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength . However, there are times when it takes as much strength to know when to let go and then do it.

There ia a fine line between holding on and letting go.

As always, GOOD STUFF. We do tend to hold on to the past even though we KNOW things always change. Change and acceptance is tough, but we MUST move on or get run over!

What an optimistic point of view!
This makes me think of a book another blogger has recommended called, "Forgiving What You Can't Forget." Hmmm.....
