Learn from yesterday, live for today, look to tomorrow , rest this afternoon.

Naps are nuture’s hugs !

Sleep is one of the first activities we often sacrifice .  We’re compelled by both external and external pressures to be productive during our waking hours.

While this can lead to great feats of accomplishment, it also disrupts the bodies natural cycles and leaves us craving rest. Napping represents a pleasurable remedy to this wide sleep deprivation.  Though judged by man as being lazy, the need for a nap is a trait that all mammals share and is an acceptable part of the day in many countries.  It is also a free time and effortless way to improve our health and lift our spirits.  A nap is relaxing and can improve our mood, vision, reflexes, and memory too.

A mere 10 minute nap can sharpen your senses and refresh your energy.and a short nap can even sustain your through the day.

Feelings of guilt about napping can keep you awake when you are trying to take a nap.  Surround yourself with soft pillows or soothing music.  Try to take a nap at the same time every day and use an alarm clock, if needed, to ensure you don’t fall into a deep sleep.

Learning to nap and enjoying its benefits can help you retain your natural right to nap.  You nourish your being every time you nap.

I enjoy one every day and hope you can too.

No day is so bad it can’t be fixed with a nap.

I have never been a nap person, BUT lately I'm feeling I should. I think it is watching kittens fall asleep anywhere and any time. I am learning what a 'cat-nap' is. LOL
I appreciate the quote by Shultz!

I can't nap, it makes me feel horrible afterwards, almost like I'm sick or something. Thankfully I sleep very well at night and easily get in my 7-8 hours. :)

I LOVE my afternoon naps! Actually, they're sometimes a better sleep than what I get in bed.
