Dont ever save anything for a special occasion.  Being alive is the special occasion.

July 19 - it’s Monday again, celebrate

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.

Oprah Winfrey

Monday’s a day that should be celebrated.  It’s the beginning of a new week, a clean slate and a time to start over again .

We get another chance to get it right.  Today will never come again so we must enjoy it as best we can.

There is no need to keep the good china and crystal packed away for a special occasion. Today is occasion enough.  I use to set the table every day with candlesticks and flowers in the middle, one time a friend came in and said it looks like you’re having a party, but I said no we’re not.  This is what I do every day for my family.

Now it’s just me here at home, but I still keep flowers and candles on the table.  I’m so thankful for every day I have and intend to celebrate everyone I have.
If I don’t use these things now, they may never get used so I keep it looking like a party is going happen everyday, because it is.  I’m celebrating my life and every moment I get.

Life wasn’t meant to just be endured but to be enjoyed.  I pamper myself and light the candles.  Life is what we make it and my life is a continual celebration!

Life is short, and it is up to you to make it sweet.

Sarah Louise Delany

I use the good plates and cups and enjoy them. I don’t save things for a special occassion because today is an occasion to celebrate.

The way we start the week tends to make the whole week better. Let’s begin the celebration !  I hope you’ll join me and raising  a toast to life. It’s a very special occasion !

Live life when you have it.  Life is a splendid gift - there is nothing small about it.

Good morning! We've no 'good' dinnerware, but this last year I've begun using my mother's pretty Fostoria(?) and crystal serving pieces when we eat at the table on Sunday afternoon. If memeory serves, I think there's one of her candleholders in the china cabinet. Hmmmm....

Once I thought I would keep a dinner set I was given as a wedding present but 10yrs ago changed my mind and started using it every day.
