Chapter 5, Page 29, Book 21

We don't know them all, but we owe them all.

May 29th - Memorial Day Weekend

Im proud to be an American where at least I know Im free.  And I wont forget the men who died, who gave  that right to me.

Lee Greenwood

If it weren’t for the heroes in our military forces, none of us would be able to enjoy this Memorial Day with parades, picnics and fireworks.

Due to their sacrifice we are able to enjoy the unofficial beginning of summer with family get togethers and celebrations.

So many gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives for all of us, so all of us should pay our respect and honor them this weekend.  While we are enjoying all the holiday aspects, may we take a moment to pause in remembrance of them.

I salute all the past present and future members of our military.  While they may not have given their lives they sacrifice a lot for all of us every day.

This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.

Elmer Davis

Lee Greenwood's "God bless the USA" says it all. I love it. Even with all its faults and squabbles, we're so blessed to live here.

What a wonderful opening: We don't know them all, but we owe them all.
I am so proud of this country and the men who died to keep this country what it is. God bless all the Mothers who cried bitter tears at the deaths of their children as they defended this country.
Sending Love your wy,
Sherry & jack getting ready to do a long walk I hope.
