May 20TH - nothing good ever comes easy

Easy come, easy go.

Old Proverb

If something comes easily, we don’t tend to appreciate it the way we do something we had to work hard for.  It was easy to come by so we let it go just as easily.  It won’t last.

People that have had to work for what they have, appreciate it more and have a good work ethic.  They know that working hard will give them something that will last.

Nothing worth having comes easy.

Those that didn’t have to work for what they have and were given everything without having had to work at all, don’t appreciate what they have and only seem to want more and more.

Nothing ever comes to one, that is worth having, except as a result of hard work.

Booker T. Washington

No one ever said life would be easy, But they do say that all the hard work will be worthwhile. If you get discouraged, don’t give up without a fight.  Nothing worthwhile ever happens without endurance and energy.

The fact is that great people are really just ordinary people with an extraordinary amount of determination. Great people don’t know how to quit.

Nothing good ever comes easy

Theodore Roosevelt

I mined this gem from a great post:

Over the years I have noticed BIG TIME, inheritances are something that disappears VERY FAST.

A truth. Sending good thoughts up your way, while we have a beautiful day here,

My mother used to tell me that all the time! Funny, it took me several decades to realize what a wise woman she was.
