Chapter 5, Page 18, Book 21

Time is everything we have and don’t.

May 18th - life is too short

Don’t waste  your time in anger, regrets, worries and grudges.  Life is too short to be unhappy.

Roy T. Bennett

Life is short and we neve know how much time we have left. For some it’s shorter than it is for others, but we never know it until it’s too late.

I like to think I have plenty of time on my hands.  I have all the time I need to do what I want to do.  I no longer work and am so thankful I’m retired.  My time is mine to do all the things I want or need to do.  I never hurry, but take my time.  I can’t operate well under pressure.  Anything I do takes planty of planning, knowing it won’t get done right if I don’t take my time. and do it right.  I give my self plenty of time because I’m so much slower than I used to be.  It takes hours for me to get things done that used to take a few minutes.

I can’t begin to say enough about the value of time.  For what it’s worth it’s never too late or , too early to be whoever you want to be.  There is no time limit.  You can have it all, just not all at once.

They say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.  Nothing ever stays the same, be prepared for that.  If it’s good right now, enjoy it.  If its bad, just know nothing lasts forever.
  .
Remember: There is more to life than increasing its speed….

How did it get so late so soon?

Dr. Seuss

We could all use the reminder of how precious and fleeting time is.

Great information, and to say: Nothing ever stays the same......
is saying a mouthful. Age teaches a lot, if we pay attention.

Great post!
Like you, it takes us longer to do some stuff - but I don't see anyone standing in the corner looking at her watch, tapping her foot.
I feel mighty blessed to be retired -- but at the same time, after last year I'm anxious to get out and DO things, go places.

It definitely takes longer to get things done these days, but luckily I'm in no rush anymore!
