When you feel the earth moving, bring yourself back to the now. You’ll handle whatever shake up the next moment brings when you get to it . In this moment, you’re still breathing. In this moment, you’ve survived. In this moment, you’re find a way to step onto higher ground.
May 13TH - Balance lives in the present
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn the post, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
The concept of mindufullness is quite simple. To be mindful is to live in the moment.
You focus on what is happening in the present moment and you are fully in touch with reality. You are aware of what is happening in your body, mind, emotions and the world around you. With mindfulness ws calm our mind and emotions so we can see clearer. We develop mindfulness, when we literally expand our awareness.
Practicing mindfulness is like regularly putting small amounts of change in a jar. They will add up over time, and this will add up to greater peace and happiness as we start living in the moment.
I like the idea of living in the present, enjoing every moment we have and trying not worry about things that may not happen or that we cannot change and try to avoid spending too much time in the past or in the future.
I’m not only a survivor but I’m thriving . We have a lot to gain by being present and very little to lose. Realizing the present moment is all you ever have will allow you to live in the moment . Presence brings power.
The past has no power over the present moment. The only power it has is the power you give it. You are not what happened to you. It’s in your power to focus and witness a better reality for yourself. Be the change you want to see in the world.
No matter what you have been through, it’s all about prospective and your thoughts about a situation. You can control your thoughts about what happened to you. Only you can influence the present moment.
We just have to learn the lessons and move forward.
Be happy in the moment, that’s enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.
