Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
April 14th - we are better together
We are all working together; that’s the secret.
I know I’m very dependent on others. I can’t do much alone these days and I need help. The pictures today are of my yard when my daughter and her son helped me get the yard work done last week.
If I’d tried to do it my self, it would have probably taken a week and not one day to get it done. I appreciate their help and am so thankful that I have children and grandchildren nearby to help me out.
Some of my family that lives far away also help me out. I don’t know much about computers, but one of my sons can usually solve any problems I have. Another son helped me by sending me a new coffee maker when mine quit working. Whether near or far I have someone to help me when it’s needed.
I don’t think anyone was ever meant to be alone. There is not much at all I can do on my own. We all need each other in order to get the job done well. What one cannot do another will figure it out.
Truth is I depend on many others besides my family. I no longer can plant a garden and grow my own vegetables, but I do frequent farmers markets and buy them. Since it’s just me, it not expensive and very affordable. I do appreciate the farmers and all the food they provide.
I can take my garbage to the curb, but I can’t haul it away so I depend on the garbage men to get that done. We are all better working together. No man is an island, we all need each other. We also have community services that provide gas, water and electricity that I don’t know what I’d do without.
Coming tother is a bsginning, keeping together is progress and working together is success.
