Chapter 3, Page 15, Book 21

Only you can make it happen.

March 15th - no-one is going to do it for you.

Some people dream of success, while others people get up every morning and make it happen.

Wayne Huizenga

If we really want something bad enough, we’ll work hard enough to make it happen.  The trick is to keep on going and not to give up.

It’s up to each one of us to work hard for the things we want. Nothing easy is ever worth having.  It takes a lot of determination to go after what you want.

Don’t make excuses for why you can’t get it done.  Focus on the reasons why you must make it happen.

Succes on any level begins when you accept responsibility for creating the life you want.  You are the only person who can truly make that happen.  Not your boss, not your business partner, your financial planner or your spouse .  Just you!

You have the ability to choose which way you want to go.  You have to believe great things are going to happen in your life.  Do everything you can to prepare, pray and achieve, to make it happen

It took a lot of planning and hard work for me to be able to retire when I did, but I no longer wanted to work the rest of my life.  I wanted to retire more than I wanted to work.  So I made every effort to pay off any outstanding debts and buy what I needed while I was still working and had a steady cash flow.  I knew I’d be living on Social Secority and it wouldn’t’ be easy.  I made it work for me, but not without a lot of sacrifice  and hard work.  We just have to make up our minds to do what we love.

There is no scarcity of opportunities to make a living at what you love, there’s o scarcity of resolve to make it happen

Wayne Dyer

I can sure empathize with your last paragraph! Sure, I may have been fiscally foolish in my younger days, but 'wised up' in time. Retirement feels so great (that) I don't really miss the cash flow. Priorities.

It's up to each of us individually to make what we want happen.

Go and wake up your luck! The only place where success is before work is in the dictionary.

I am amazed at the number of people who were not READY for retirement. We had the same route you did, get ready, lower the overhead and plan to enjoy retirement rather than endure to the end...
