Chapter 2, Page 27, Book 2021

Nothing can dim the light within

Maya Angelou

February 27th - let your light shine

Shine you’re light and make a positive impact on the world; there is nothing so honorable as helping improve the light of others.

Roy T. Bennett

If we place ourselves in the shadows we not only prevent our true light from radiating out, but we’re also left feeling envious of those that are basking in their own fabulous glow.

Imagine yourself sitting in front of a mirror illumined with light.  Your reflection in the mirror radiates love, happiness and confidence.  The lights are bright and beautiful.  So are you.  So amazing beautiful.

Never doubt that you can shine and reflect your glow. Remember this every time you waste your energy wishing you had somebody else’s life, a light of your own life will go out.

Light up your life.  Let yourself shine and be happy you did.  Burn those lights bright so you don’t lose your shine.  It can be hard to feel bright and beautiful while your in an environment that doesn’t feel supportive.  So limit your time spent with negative people or thoughts.  We all need some encouragement from time to time.

Shine your light as only you can.  You have gifts and talents no one else has.  The world does not benefit from your living in the shadows.  It benefits from your incredible colorful contribution.

As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we liberated our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.

I immediately thought of the song-This Little Light Of Mine. I think we should be a beacon of light to everyone we meet. xo Diana
