Chapter 1, Page 19, Book 21

have found that if you love life, life will love you back.

Arthur Rubenstein

January 19th - love life

Be in love with your life, Every minute of it.

Jack Kerouac

I’m not saying I have a love life, but that I do love my life.  I am happy to be who I am, what I have, and to live life every day.  Life is such a gift, it’s to be enjoyed to the fullest.

I’m retired and no longer have to go to work each day and can pretty much do what I want to do.  This is a reward for living as long as I have.  Life hasn’t always been as easy for me as is now.  I had to work many years before reaching this point.  I raised a large family and kept house along with going to work each day.  Now I can set back and enjoy life in the slow lane.  It definitely gives me more time to stop and smell the roses.

I’m a very contented person.  Contentment with what I have and who I am.  There is not much I need and I am thankful every day for that.

Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep going forward and savoring the journey.

Roy T. Bennett

Life is what you make it, and always has been.

That last quote really resonated with me. So many challenges over the past year and still many ahead. We have to make the best of it and keep on keeping on.

Contentment, yes!
If I'd known life in the slow lane was this nice, I'd have retired sooner! :)

I've seen so many people who did not know that life could love them back. I would hate to go thru life like that.
