Chapter 1, Page 18, Book 21

Don’t just learn, experience.
Don’t just read, absorb.
Don’t just change, transform
Don’t just relate, advocate
Don’t just promise, prove
Don’t just criticize, encourage
Don’t just think, ponder.
Don’t just take, give.
Don’t just dream, do .
Don’t just hear, listen.
Don’t just talk, act.
Don’t just tell, show.
Don’t just exist, live.

Roy T. Bennett

January 18th -  I have a dream, Martin Luther King Jr.

Hope is a waking dream.

Aristotle

From my daily devotion today

Some of the most audacious, bold, history making events began as dreams. Born in the imaginations of those who understood the promise and potential of humanity and worked to realized their vision.

Even if my dreams do not change the world they have the power to change my life.  Today, I remember those dreams were all fueled by their heard work, faith and determination.  I look to their example when my dreams feel far away and I’m running low on hope.

I’m going to rekindle my dreams through my imagination, which keeps them vivid. My strength helps me remain committed to their realization and my zeal renews by enthusiasm to work toward  the life and the world of my dreams.

Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself.  Go forward and make your dreams come true.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Even if my dreams do not change the world they have the power to change my life." I don't know if this counts, but I woke up this morning with a new resolve: Self-care 101. I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired -- and I'm the only one who can do something about it.
Happy Monday!

I am a dreamer. It is hard to beat Mr. Emerson, very wise was he.
