January 17th - thankful Sunday
It’s a beautiful Sunday morning and a great opportunity to thank the Lord for reminding us of how blessed we are.

Sundays are always my day to sit back and reflect upon what made me smile this week, what makes me thankful.
Even though our covoid numbers continue to go up in Ohio, It’s another week to be thankful my health and that of my family. It’s so scary looking at the news and seeing what’s happening in our world. So many lost lives due to this virus., but thankfully I’m safe and happy at home.
Home is another thing to be thankful for. Truly there is no place like home for true comfort. As long as I limit my contact with others, only go out when needed for groceries and such and stay well protected with masks and keep ta a safe distance, I’ll hopefully continue to stay this way. It’s all any of us can do.
I’m thankful for the seemingly mild winter we are having. We’ve had a few snow storms, but nothing that has stayed around for weeks and weeks. The temps haven’t been as cold as they are sometimes either. We’ve no days down below zero and that is unusual for us this time of year. I’m certainly not complaining but only being thankful these days. Winter days are here for sure, but it could have been much worse.
I’m thankful for the stiumulus check that was direct deposited into my account. It wasn’t what most were hoping for but it is going directly into savings here for emergency funds to be used when needed. Thankfully I do have what I need and had no immediate use for it.
I hope this week has been a good one for all of you too, with more blessings than not.
A Sunday well spent brings a week of content

There is always something to be thankful for.
Thank you, Ma! I agree, there's no place like home ... my refuge. We're still experiencing 20-something degree mornings, but it's supposed to begin warming mid-week. I may not be quite ready, but I'm happy for the birds and squirrels. (*smiles*)
It is so scary out there! I'm so thankful I have stayed safe and my family as well. I sure hope it stays that way. We have had an unusually chilly winter for Florida but of course nothing like your weather. Have a great Sunday Ma :)
Oh yes, when we think that we have all that we need, it is easy to be humbled and VERY Thankful. As always, we enjoyed the visit.
Sherry & jack, a good chilly day here.
