Chapter 12, Page 7, Book 20

Keep a good heart.  That’s the most important thing in life.  It’s not how much money you make or what you can acquired.  The art of it is to keep a good heart.

Joni Mitchell

December 7th - A loving heart is the truest wisdom

If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded.

Maya Angelou

In matters of the heart, it’s what’s in the heart that that matters. Everything we do, everything we say, our actions and our thoughts flow from the heart.

Though some people have been known as heartless, we cannot actually live with out a heart, it is the life source of the human body.

In matters of the heart int comes down to a matter of disaplin, choosing what we know is good for us and what is harmful. For the most part we know when we’ve made a poor choice We’re aware of when we’re drowning in something bad.  But are we are equally mindful as to what we feed our spiritual heart.

Just like the kind of food you feed your body affects your physical heart, the thoughts and pictures you feed your brain change the way you think and feel. Your spiritual heart, therefore has an effect on the way you act.

Our brains are like computers it stores everything you input by way of what you see, feel, touch, taste and hear.  What you feed your senses is constantly making an impact on your mind and heart.

It’s important to give your attention to some positive input, something that lifts your heart and frees your mind.

Watching the news all day long isn’t going to help your heart beat at it’s best.

Do yourself a favor and feed your mind something good!

Every heart that has beat strongly and cheerfully has left a hopeful impulse behind it in the world, and bettered the tradition of mankind.

Robert Louise Stevenson.

Very good and as usual you end on a high note. This left me saying Amen:
Watching the news all day long isn’t going to help your heart beat at it’s best.

Do yourself a favor and feed your mind something good!
That is a truth,
Sending love on a rainy day

So true! I'll never forget my former pastor saying it's okay to attend another church or explore other beliefs ... "Go where you're fed."
For sure, the network news doesn't do it for me.

That's why God looks at the condition of one's heart I do believe! I like your thought of the heart (and mind for that matter) being fed something different than the network news. Reading the Bible is a great way to be fed :)
