Chapter 12, Page 16, Book 20

Everyone has a piece of good news.  The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be.  How much you can love.  What you can accomplish and what your potential is.

Anne Frank

December 16th - share your good news

Good news is rare these days, and every glittering ounce of it should be cherished and hoarded and worshipped and fondled like a priceless diamond.

Hunter S. Thompson

This third week of Avent is all about sharing our good news.  Our good news we know is not the stuff that grabs the headlines . Its often the simple ordinary and down to earth moments that make up our daily lives.  Good news has been scarce during 2020 but there are still lots of good news stories out there.  We need to celebrate them more than ever now.

The challenge is to bring the good news alive and to believe that it does make a difference.  This is the heart of the Christmas message.  The birth of Jesus ia reminder of God with us and among us. It’s not just about some event in the past, but all about the difference it can make in our lives right now

The good news is that the bad news can be turned into good news when you change your attitude.

Robert H. Schuller

We have so little good news now-a-days tht it is so refreshing just to read a tidbit. But you ended with good news and it is NOT just a tidbit when you say:
It’s not just about some event in the past, but all about the difference it can make in our lives right now.
Good stuff. Be safe and as you do, keep looking on the bright side.

You are so right- it is the simple, innocent moments in life that are the good news! We are blessed to have lots of 'good news' even during this pandemic. xo Diana

Blessed are those who continue to shed light with their uplifting stories -- whether it be from the pulpit or onto our computer screens. I try and find at least one nugget each day.

So true, we have to appreciate and celebrate all the little things!

I'm still thrilled with my good news about being able to cook and bake again. I also took a trip to Costco yesterday and am stocked up with toilet paper and paper towels well into 2021.Definitely feel blessed! Take care, my friend!

One of the local TV stations always ended their newscast with uplifting stories. Not so much these days. Miss it for sure because we need to hear the good news since so much these days is bad news.
