Chapter 10, Page 26, Book 20

Hope over fear.

October 26th - choose hope

We should not let our fears hold us back from pursuing our hopes.

John F. Kennedy

We have choices to make every day and as for me, I choose hope.  No sense in living in fear when we can choose hope instead.  More and more fear has taken over our lives with these pandomendic days but that’s no way to live.  We cannot be afraid to live our lives.

There is always hope for tomorrow when we believe God will see us through this.  We have to be careful but we don’t have to live in fear.

We may not be able to do everything we want to, but there is plenty we can do and that is enough for me.  Hope is the antidote to fear.  You cannot be both fearful and hopeful at the same time. So choose hope and send your fears away.

May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.

Nelson Mandela

If you have hope, you have everything!

This one reminded me of so many pandemic related views. You had it right, we have to be careful but not live in fear. Some people think you are living in fear if you aren't just out and about doing whatever you would normally do. It's not living in fear if you chose to stay home and as safe as possible. Others believe God will protect them even if they aren't careful and don't do anything to protect themselves. I believe God gave us a brain for a good reason! I have hope that this will all be behind us soon.

"You may not be able to do everything we want to, but there is plenty we can do." Amen! Perhaps, we need to put on our 'thinking caps' and get creative.
