Chapter 10, Page 23, Book 20

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cant change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Serenity Prayer

October 23rd - Love changes everything

If you dont like something, change it, if you cant change it, change your attitude.

Maya Angelou

Change is constant, everything is constantly changing.  If we don’t change with the times we will not learn and grow.  It’s a part of life as we know it.

We can change for the better or for the worse, it’s a choice that is up to us.  Our attitude is so important.  It’influences all our actions.  It is only the right attitude which gets good results.  All smiles and handshakes are not going to get you far if you do not have the attitude to help others without any selfish expectations.

Our attitude determines how far we succeed in life. It can either push you to do great things or pull yourself down to your demise.  It is the basis for every thing in our lives.  Our attitude determines how we react to adversity , or ability to grown and learn, our ability to overcome challenges and create bonds with others.  It is the product of a lifetime of instilled beliefs.

What is important is that we take responsibility for ourselves so that we can consciously reverse it in order to grow, transform, evolve and experience life at its fullest.

To change our attitude is to change how we see the world. You cannot control what is currently happening in your life, but you can control how you react to it.  It’s something we are all responsible for.

Change your thoughts,  change your life.

James Allen

The Serenity Prayer is even more meaningful in this season of anger and anxiety. Jesus take the wheel!
