Focus on the outcome not the obstacle
August 5th - obstacles are opportunities.
The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in ever difficulty.
Sometimes it’s hard to keep our focus when we’re trying to do something, especially if obstacles keep blocking our way. But if we focus on the outcome, it will all come together. It’s a matter of perspective and how we look at things.
An obstacle isn’t an roadblock, it’s an opportunity for growth. Focus on what you can do, not on what you can’t do.
We cannot always control events, but we can control our attitude.
The truth is that how we choose to see things often makes all the difference. There will always be events and circumstances that challenge us. But the mental perspective we take toward them makes the difference between struggle and success.
Sometimes we have to look harder, but there are always opportunities to be found. Obstacles allow us the opportunity to reflect on how we could do things differently and examine what did and did to work right the first time around. Obstacles and stumbles allow us time to go back to the drawing board and rethink how things could have gone differently.
If you can’t change your attitude, you will always get the same results. Consider that somethings happen for you not to you. When you think it might be happening for you , your mind opens to the possibilities.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
