May 20th - one small step at a time
In the middle of it all, pause and look around you . Appreciate what’s beautiful; Take in the love. Nod to what’s good and true. And then move forward one step at a time.
Taking small steps can make a big difference especially in tough times. but there is no getting around that taking these steps will be uncomfortable. That is why so many people don’t do it, at least not at first. We have to remind ourselves that just because it isn’t easy don’t mean it won’t be worth it.
It’s ok to feel uncomfortable because that’s where growth and healing begins. In order to have something worthwhile, it’s going to take some discomfort and work. Nothing worth having ever comes easy.
We have to step out of our comfort zones if we want to reinvent our lives to adapt to the new normal, we have to give up certain comforts and routines to get to what we want.
Its all about being willing to accept what comes, being vulnerable and being open to new possibilities by taking one small step at a time.
Instead of waiting for perfection, just do your best with what you’ve got right now and improve it along the way. We certainly have plenty in our lives that makes life worth living right now. Focus on what matters most and see where it leads.
Take one step at a time, there’s no need to rush.
