Chapter 5, Page 20, Book 20

One step at a time is all it takes for you to get there.

Emlly Dickenson

May 20th - one small step at a time

In the middle of it all, pause and look around you .  Appreciate what’s beautiful;  Take in the love. Nod to what’s good and true.  And then move forward one step at a time.

Cathy Freston

Taking small steps can make a big difference especially in tough times.  but there is no getting around that taking these steps will be uncomfortable.  That is why so many people don’t do it, at least not at first.  We have to remind ourselves that just because it isn’t easy don’t mean it won’t be worth it.

It’s ok to feel uncomfortable because that’s where growth and healing begins.  In order to have something worthwhile, it’s going to take some discomfort and work. Nothing worth having ever comes easy.

We have to step out of our comfort zones if we want to reinvent our lives to adapt to the new normal, we have to give up certain comforts and routines to get to what we want.

Its all about being willing to accept what comes, being vulnerable and being open to new possibilities by taking one small step at a time.

Instead of waiting for perfection, just do your best with what you’ve got right now and improve it along the way. We certainly have plenty in our lives that makes life worth  living right now. Focus on what matters most and see where it leads.

Take one step at a time, there’s no need to rush.

Take it one step at a time and we will get there.

Taking a step at a time coming back out in the world. Trying to be safe and take precautions but knowing it is good to be out in the familiar and seeing those I love in person. It is scary thinking we might be exposed and in danger but we are taking those small steps to ensure we are trying to stay safe. We will all get there.

It is one step at a time - and you have to slow down and think!

So true--and often it is just baby steps before we hit an even stride. It really is kind of scary now to be going out and about. We are still cautious-especially because of hubby's health issues. Hugs-Diana

Yep, this period came on most of us FAST. So much so we forgot many of us in our lives were RUNNING, now we have been slowed down, maybe it is good, but as you pointed out very well, one step at a time, so we now WATCH OUR STEP!

Great and timely reminder! I was a bit nervous going to my hair-cutter this morning -- then reassured at all her precautions. My friend in Florida says that while their YMCA is back open for lap swimmers it must be done by appointment only; and only then can there be no more than 4 individuals at a time; no socializing; no access to the locker rooms, etc. Her hubby -- who hates change of any kind -- is fit to be tied.
