Chapter 4, Page 15, Book 20

The surest way to simplify your life is to focus on what matters most

April 15th - less is more

What matters most should never be a the mercy of what matters least.

Johann Wolfgang van Goeth

Its always good to get our priorities straight and  put our focus on what truly matters in life. We all have so much on our plates that we forget what we value in life.  What is important you.  Its only then we can focus our efforts on the right things, Its only then we can spend our time right.

We tend to obsess over the trivial things but not to spend our time on what matters most , even if it is as simple as doing things with the family, keeping in touch with those we value. we should  never lose sight of what matters.

The important things in my life are faith, family and friends and when I focus on whats important everything else seems to fall into place.

The key is not to prioritize whats on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.

Steven Covey

Keep your focus on what matters.

You said a truth. We do spend time on trivial things at times when we lose our priorities list. LOL It is a human frailty that slips in. When we really try, all of a sudden a light comes on to reset our mind to what is important.
I like this one, because it points to a big problem I have of keeping focused on the important things..
Good morning and hope all is well in your world up and over there.
Sherry & jack sending love your way.
PS:Things are looking up, I think we are about to head back to normal (what ever that is LOL)

So true about obsessing over trivial things that we forget what really matters. We worry about our days currently but instead we should be trusting that God is in control and He will meet our needs. What really matters these days I do believe is trust and faith and lots of prayer!

I'd like to say that my near-sighted(ness) is only specific to my eyesight. I do spend too much time on those things that really don't matter -- until something happens to get my attention. What I wouldn't give for a hug from my friends right about now.

I find I have a run away mind these days - and I repeatedly have to deliberately bring my mind back to not worrying!
