Rainey Easter 2020

Stronger together, but 6 feet apart.

April 13th - virtual Easter

We are stonger together than we are apart.

Walter Payton

We are all following social distancing these days, but truth is we are always stronger when we work together.
We have to be safe while we do it and this was the case for our family Easter gathering this year.

Thanks to modern internet apps like google hangouts and Zoom we were able to do this.  My family met yesterday and every one enjoyed seeing each other.  Just knowing that all my family are safe and healthy means a lot to me.

When we come together for a common purpose and it has a loving vibrations, we are extremely powerful.  Thats why its so important we support and love one another.

Lets reinforce human links and focus on what matters most: your health and your loved ones!  We need to face our great responsibilities with courage. We keep our distance now, so in the future we can be together.

United  we stand, divided we fall

Thomas Jefferson

We took a drive yesterday afternoon and didn't see too many big family gatherings. There were a few with people outside celebrating in their front yard but for the most part I was glad to see that people were following the social isolating suggestions made by our leaders. We did stop by son's place with potato salad and stopped and got a dozen donuts for them for dessert but we just dropped stuff off quickly and left. Looking forward to the day when we can spend time together in person but I know its good to keep what we are doing now to help not spread any sickness.

I think apps(?) like what your family enjoyed are so amazing. Since my computer's a desktop, I've no camera feature allowing me to 'zoom' -- maybe that's a GOOD thing, since I'm not wearing a stitch of cosmetics? (*grin*)
Son and I visited by phone yesterday. He was sort of apologetic about not coming over, but given his father-in-law's declining health, Troy's more cautious than usual. Whenever I get to feeling restless I just have to remind myself that Anne Frank and her family spent what, 700+ days in that tiny attic. Perspective.

A good visit from here via the net. Good thoughts and advice can always be found at your home. Yes we must stay close, even at a distance. logical but illogical. Of course the time calls for some work on ideas of staying healthy and friendly.
