Chapter 1, Page 9, Book 20

Day 15 - January 9th

It’s a partly cloudy morning here and is supposed to be mostly cloudy this afternoon.  My vacation is almost over and it’s time to think about getting my things together to see if they will fit in the suitcase to go back home.  I have accumulated a few things that I didn’t have when I arrived.  It’s going to  be packed tight for sure.

I spent most of yesterday by the pool and had hoped to get some tan, but nothing shows.  I don’t have a line where my shorts ended or where my shirt sleeve was.   DDIL fixed dinner when she came home from work and we had a delicious tortolini dinner with garlic butter rolls that were awesome. She is a very good cook.

The moon was almost full last evening and was very bright in the sky.  It’s a rare thing when I get to see it at home  because it’s usually very cloudy.  Not a cloud in the sky last night though.

Went to bed early and had a great night’s sleep and will probably do the same today.  There are no special plans .
They have work and school.  I will have the dog for company once again

My gerand dog is great company and loves to be outside soaking up the sun like me.

I am reminded what mama used to say: All things good and bad come to an end. WE are glad when the bad things end, but the good, not always so happy. But we have enjoyed every post from Florida, and very happy that you were able to keep the daily entries up. You handle this internet stuff well, but then you are a kid. and used to mental and physical work anyway! LOL You have delighted us with you normal wit and beautiful pictures too.

Good morning, Ma. That moon shot is WOWza! And your DIL's pretty supper, so colorful. (You had me at garlic butter. LOL) I hope you're able to soak up lots more of that liquid sunshine today!

I'd be very content with the pup and the pool. I found I slept better in Vermont. It was so quiet compared to New York City. Safe trip home!

Include your child's hobbies in their learning. If they enjoy building model cars, pick up reference books for them to read and include building a car as a project. Teach them about how an engine works, how cars affect the environment and even use the speed and distance a car goes in math lessons.

Only disrobe to your comfort level. For many people, undressing for a massage is not a big deal. This is not the case with some and they often find themselves feeling uncomfortable or self-conscious during the massage. This will reduce the effect of the massage. Avoid this by only taking off the clothing you are comfortable with.
