Chapter 1, Page 24, Book 20

Whatever you are not changing - you are choosing.

Laurie Buchanan

January 24th - you get to choose

The Only Thing that is constant is Change.

Just like seasons, things and people are always changing.  That means our choices will have to change too.  What we once thought to be okay will change and so we must change what choices we make.

Nothing stays the same forever. Every obstacle you have been through will change you in some way.  Every person you meet will change you. It’s our job to decide how to  Live the life we want.  When you lose don’t give up.  Always carry faith and courage with you. It’s a choice we have.  Always look at the brighter side of life when you’re at your darkest point.  Life itself is a blessing.  Not everyone can be able to experience it.

To exist is to change, to change is to mature. to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.

Henri Bergson

Oh YES, such a truth and I like the way you said it. Things Change. I remember a young SS teacher who once said, "Remember things are subject to change!" She was so young and healthy and was buried the next year of so. Yep, Things change.

I think if you are not changing - you are dying!

Since I first heard that analogy, I've never watched a stream or river the same way. That quote by Ms. Buchanan makes me want to create a companion to my Vision Board of sayings that
touch my heart or head … or both!

I don't like change even though I know its inevitable with life :)

I'm not a huge fan of change, but if we don't accept and embrace the changes, we'll just be sitting on the sidelines, watching life go by without us.

One of my resolutions for 2020 was to change things up this year. I switched my gym classes -- I was kind of getting in a rut -- and a few other small things. I found it was time to enjoy a new activity or two. So far I'm enjoying the things I've chosen. Change will arrive whether I welcome it or not, and I'd like to welcome it when I can.
