My 17 Days Of  Christmas

Day 6 - December 31st

New Year’s Eve and our family Christms celebration…

After a delicious breakfast provided by DS#4 and his wife, our day began  with a little shopping at the outlet mall nearby. DDIL#1,DDIL#2 and DD and I, along with some of the older grandkids, had a lot of fun and found several bargains too.

We returned home just about the time the boys, my sons,  returned from golfing.  DDILs#4 and 5 had stayed home to do some cooking for our dinner and the younger kids enjoyed the pool and hanging out with each other.

We had dinner together and welcomed the New Year in and then everyone returned to their hotel.  I had all I could do to stay awake until midnight and went to bed shortly afterward.  I woke up to a chilly morning this morning.  Had to put my sweatshirt on.  We are almost 60 degrees and should reach mid 70’s today.  I was spoiled by the 80 degree days so it is quite cold feeling.  Still it’s better than Ohio where it’s been snowing and is only 30 degrees this morning. I've adapted to the warm and sunny weather and love it.

Sounded like a lovely day, Ma! Loved the pictures of the festivities and you in the 2020 glasses! Maybe it is time for you to consider a move south :)

How great you look in the 2020 glasses! We've been watching the Bowl games from Orlando and Tampa where the weather looks fabulous. So glad everyone's pitching in enjoying one another's company. What a Christmas to remember!

Love the glasses! We are smiling and happy with you, having the family there. Love the pictures and smiling faces. JOY just jumps out. We know you are so proud. Glad you made it down and at least saw some 80s while down.
Love and the best during the NEW YEAR.
