It’s not happiness that brings us gratitude. It’s gratitude that brings us happiness.
An attitude of gratitude is not only a great rhyme but a great way to live. We should always be grateful for what we have. Thankful for everything, big and small, that fills our life and makes it special. To have an attitude of gratitude means we try to be positive, to acknowledge the good things that happen and to speak about what we are grateful for, and to have a positive attitude toward life. Gratitude is an attitude.
If you want to find happiness, find gratitude.
You cannot be uncomfortable or unhappy and still be grateful. This is one of the greatest blessings of gratitude, being in a constant state of feeling grateful helps us to put things into a true perspective. It helps us to rise up and above the things what would weigh us down. When we are grateful we put things in their proper perspective. because the small things like annoyances and disappointments won’t overwhelm us so easily . We remember how blessed we are in every moment and won’t get caught up in the pettiness of life that can suck the joy right out of us.
Gratitude blesses us. It opens us up so that more can come in. It expands the space around us. When you live with gratitude , more of everything will flow into your life. Gratitude is a form of abundance. When we are a good receiver, we will be offered more.
Gratitude, like faith, is a muscle. The more you use it, the stonger it grows, and more power you have to use it on your behalf; If you do not practice gratefulness, its benefaction will go unnoticed, and your capacity to draw on its gifts will be diminished. To be grateful is to find blessings in everything. This is the most powerful attitude to adopt, for there are blessings in everything.
