Chapter 9, Page 3, Book 19

Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are.  Let me learn from you , love you, bless you before you depart.  Let me not pass you by in the quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.

Mary Jean Iron

September 3rd - back to normal

The pursuit of normality is the ultimate sacrifice of potential

Faith Jagede

After a nice long holiday weekend, it’s back to normal days for me.  Normal means doing what I usually do every day of the week.  It’s Tuesday but it feels like a Monday.  There will be laundry and house cleaning to do.  I had lots of fun over the weekend, but the fun is over and  now there’s work to be done.

Normal is the wrong name often used for average.

Henry  S. Haskins

Some will be returning to work,  and so will I, only Ill be doing it here at home.  It’’ll be a normal day with everyone gone back home, my house will be very quiet, but it was so good to see everyone!  I have learned to appreciate normal days as everything is quiet and nothing exciting is going on, but everyday is an adventure anyway you look at it.  Normal days are truly hard to find.

Normal is an illusion.  What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly.

Tuesday is a day off for me and I as lucky to have some of yesterday off as well. Will be a busy one for me as preparing for DIL's birthday party this weekend, but I hope to catch a minute or two to just sit and relax :)

I love your thoughts on normality. Normal days are my favorites too!

That quote by Mary Jean Iron is a keeper, for sure!
Only as I've grown older can I appreciate the sanctity of ordinary days.

I feel blessed by normal days. Today wasn't quite normal, because I had a meeting for a synagogue project that we've been planning for several months. But otherwise normal. Happily normal. I had iced coffee at my favorite local spot and went to physical therapy. I answered email and now I'm "chatting" with blog friends. Grateful for the many blessings that make a normal day.
