I only have one minute
by Dr. Benjamin E. Mays
I only have just a minute
Only sixty seconds in it.
Diddn’t see it, didn’t choose it
But it’s up to me to use it.
Give account if I abuse it.
Just a tiny little minute.
But eternity is in it.
August 12th - five more minutes
Time is free, but its priceless
You can’t own it, but you can use it.
You can’t keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.
As I rolled over in bed this morning I thought to my self, just 5 minutes more. and then I yawned, and went back to sleepand before I know it an hour had passed away, which got me to thinking about the value of time.
You will never find time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.
When we realized the value of time it helps to prevent putting thing off. It is vital that we spend time to work. Puttingthings off is a theft of time and success. Yet, everyone of us needs time to relax and enjoy quality time with our loved ones too. Life is very busy and if we fail to value time we will waste it on unnecessary things which may have major effects on the people that we love most.
Time is the most valuable coin in your life. You and you alone will determine how the coin will be spent. Be careful the you do not let other people spend it for you.
Life is short, but it is also you’re forever. Every second of the day matters. Small things matter. Every thing, we do, even the little things make difference so how we spend our time matters. It’s important to stay focused on what truly matters or we’ll loose valuable time .
The great dividing line between success and failure can be expressed in five words: I did not have time.
