August 11th - Experience is the best teacher

Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgement.

Rita Mae Brown

It’s true you will learn more from the things that happen to you in real life than you will from reading about or studying things that happen to others. The lessons learned from experience can be powerful and the more painful, the greater the lessons.

You can’t grow as a person without making a few mistakes. So it’s important to use what you’ve seen in life and use that as a tool for growth. remember you can not achieve growth in life without experience.

When dealing with a rough situation you learn to remain calm and composed about the situation. Thus, the experience is the best teacher to learn calmness. The important thing is not to miss the lesson.

They are there in every experiense we encounter. I’ve experienced the many ways not to treat other people. I’ve known people that only complain about how others do things, so I was taught the importance of the good that praise can do to encourage others. A compliment will always make a big difference.

Turn your wounds into wisdom.

I love the graphic that reads "When you stumble make it part of the dance." It takes me back to 1952 when I heard a musician say the same thing thing about playing an instrument. I never for got it.

I like you thought about you can't grow a person without making a few mistakes. That is so true! But that is how we learn and how we mature, so true too how important compliments are!

I'm still learning lessons every day. I wished I'd learn not to be afraid to fail when I was much younger. It would have made life so much easier. Have a great week!
