Chapter 7, Page 5, Book 19

Always keeping in mind that you become what you think about, be very careful about any thoughts you harbor that involve doubt.

Wayne W. Dyer

July 5th - we are what we think about

Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.

Susy Kassem

Doubt has a way of getting under our skin, Its a feeling that we are not good enough.  We can either trust ourselves and try again, or give into the feelings that discourage persistencepositivity and faith in ones self.

It’s our choice to believe in ourselves or to doubt.  We are what we think. If we think we can, we can.  If we think we can’t, we can’t.  We can control our thoughts. We all have a mind of our own, capable of imagining life the way we want it.

When you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt.

Honore de Balzac

Ive come to realize that what we focus on becomes our reality. We cannot control our circumstances, but we can control what we think about. We need to pay closer attention to our thoughts, because they shape our lives.

Believe it and you will achieve it.

We become what we think about all day long.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

We are not who others think we are, we are who we think we are.

One of our biggest problems as humans is our concern of what others think we are. Nothing wrong with that as long as it doesn't possess us to change WHO we are.

Good stuff!
This reminds me of a quote from that splendid book, The Art of Racing in the Rain -- “The car goes where the eyes go.”

Have you ever heard of a horse whisperer - I think we have to be like that to ourselves - we have to tell ourselves we are good - we are okay - things are okay. You have to be positive to yourself - even when you are around toxic people.

I agree that we can control what we think about. I've been trying that. As soon as a thought comes into my head that I don't want to have, I try to divert it and not dwell on it. Its been working!
