Refocus on the JOY of the season

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year!

It’s that time of year again.  December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. This season is like no other when it comes to being filled with joy.

This time of year can seem so busy that often times we aren’t really enjoying it, but it can be an amazing time of year if we just allow ourselves some time to slow down and simplify.  Don’t let stress steal you JOY.

The sights and sounds of the season are something we don’t want to miss out on.  It’s a time to take in the real meaning of the season.

The Christmas season is supposed to the the happiest time of the year.  Joy is in the air when we take the time to look for it, not matter how hectic it gets. So I’m celebrating a month of JOY here at my house and with every page I write for the month of December.

The holidays only come once a year and last for just a few short weeks. Keep the joy in the season and happiness in your heart.  Enjoy the simple things that make life beautiful and bring you JOY.

For somehow, not only at Christmas, but all the long year through, The joy that you give to others is the joy that comes back to you.

John Greenleaf Whittier

I like your comment not to let stress steal the joy of the season. I think so many people get wrapped up (literally) in wanting to have a great holiday time that they forget just to breathe and enjoy all the wonders around them. We're going to be trying to find activities to do on Sundays that are holiday related to enjoy this season.

Betty is so right, along with your post. It is amazing how many people get 'stressed' trying to do the 'right' thing for Christmas. The right thing is Celebrate the birth and enjoy your family.
I know that must be someone's grand pulling on the red hat, what a cute catch on film!

Joy to the World … indeed!
This has nuthin' to do with nuthin', but I always loved that name. Since babies are out of the question (ha!) I may have to bestow that moniker on a fur-baby.

at this time of year you should try to limit your stress. "This season is like no other when it comes to being filled with joy. "
