Our affections are our life. We live by them; they supply our warmth.
William Ellery Channing
Today I’m thankful for warmth
The hearts that love will know never winter’s frost and chill, summer’s warmth is in them still.
Eben Eugene Redford
We all need love and affection. That warm feeling that a hug gives just cannot be replaced. It makes you feel safe and secure. And believe me when I say, a little warmth can go a long way.
Some travel south for the winter for warmth, but I never had the opportunity, still in northern Ohio, even on the coldest day, there is a lot of warmth to be found.
All the statistics in the world can’t measure the warmth of a smile.
A smile, a hug, a complement, or a kind word, can warm my heart just like the rays of sunshine beaming through the clouds on a chilly day. I have a sun porch with windows on 3 sides where I’ll often look for a sun puddle to sit in. Sunshine on my shoulders always makes me happy. I love to feel sun on my shoulders, but that feeling doesn’t compare to the warmth of a kindness shared.
The light is what guides you home, the warmth is what keeps you there.
