Chapter 8, Page 28, Book 18

Alone we can so little, together we can do so much.

Helen Keller

The more the merrier!

Many hands make light work.

John Heywood

The cliche, the more the merrier, means that the more people there are, the better or more enjoyable the situation will be.  I know for a fact that more helpers make a task easier and the work gets done faster.  It’s tempting to believe that we can live this life all on our own but the truth is there are times we all need each other for accountability, encouragement and help. We can’t do it on our own.

We thrive when we feel connected and supported by each other. It’s nice to have a certain amount of independence and to be able to things on our own, but that is not always possible.  I depend on the electric and power companies to supply heat and air conditioning,  I depend on the garbage men to take the trash away.  I depend on my family and friends when I need help.  I can’t do everything for myself.

We are people who need people.

We’re all in this together if we’re in it at all.

Johnny Cash

It is always good to have people work together to get things done. Like you said, it does make the job go by quicker and easier!

I really love my church groups for support - the more I go to them the closer I become too - what about you?

It is ALWAYS nice to know HELP is near. As near as a friend!
Late reading, but definitely a good visit.

This thought resonated with me, especially since my knee replacement. I’m not sure what I would have done had it not been for the help and support of those around me.
