Chapter 7, Page 30, Book 18

If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.

Marc Anthony

Love what you do, until you can do what you love

I can do what I love or I love what I do.  Learn to love the task in front of you.

DeWitt Jones

Work takes up a big chunk of our lives so it is important to do what we love.  Most days are ordinary and don’t have anything special about the unless we make them special. To take time to celebrate and do things you enjoy is to celebrate life and keep yourself in a good frame of mind.

Don’t worry about what the world needs.  Ask what makes you come alive and do that, because what the world need is people who have come alive.

Howard Thurman

If you do what you love, you will love what you do.  When you start to feel down, just take time to do something that lifts your mood and helps you feel better. To enjoy everyday life, celebrate the ordinary.  Sit in th sun, take a walk in the midst of your everyday activities.  No day needs be ordinary if we realize the gift God is giving us when he gives us another day.

If you are doing everything with love, you can love everything you do.

Okay, this is as close to my life as I can get in quotes:

If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.

Marc Anthony.........

Now I have been very fortunate in my 79 years only a few months have been spent not loving what I did. I have never dreaded Mondays and there have been many times I did not want to see the work day end. I have been blessed!

I used to love the work I did, but not so much these days with all the changes over the years. However, wondering if it is worth pursuing another career or job with only a few more years to work before retirement. I am grateful though for the job I do have.

I sure hope that old Andy finds a job he loves. You are right.

"Celebrating the ordinary" is the BEST!
Even now, at 68 y/o, I'm going to be cautious and weigh my options how I want to spend my days.
