Where there is faith, there is love;
Where there is love, there is peace;
Where there is peace, there is God;
And where there is God;
there is no need.
Leo Tolstoy
things that bring peace
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.
Barbara Miller
Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no trouble or hard realities to deal with . Peace means to be in the midst of all and remain peaceful.
Distractions, especially the noise we face every day from the myriad forms of media and entertainment can make it difficult to quiet our minds.
Things were never easy. Things do not always go as you hope, but that is life.
Peace begins with a smile. Smile five times a day at someone you don’t really want to smile at at all. Do it for peace.
Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Move towards something instead of away
Take a few steps back
Give yourself time.
I am content to be where I am, and with what I have. If you focus more on the things like the beauty around you in the moment and gratitude, the mind remains calm and peaceful.
Don’t over complicate your life, with simplicity comes peace of mind.

Here is a big ***SMILE*** for all of you today ! Peace!
I like that quote from Mother Theresa about peace beginning with a smile and to smile 5 times a day at someone you might not want to smile at all to. Imagine how more peaceful our world would be if we smiled at our enemies (and prayed for them) instead of condemned them in our thoughts and words and actions.

Happy Sunday to you too!
I remember seeing that Mother Theresa quote last year and trying it out at work.
Yes, it felt strange at first ….. but the physicality of forming a smile does trigger something in the brain.
It is the truth, when I smile I feel better and much more at peace. Graphics are very good.
Sherry & jack close to the first coast!
I loved your post. The thought that came to me was "Seek peace and pursue it." Psalm 34:14. I'm going to keep this verse in mind this week. I need to remember that peace won't come to me without my active work. Wishes for a peaceful week!
