Chapter 7, Page 13, Book 18

When you have to make a choice and don’t make it, that is in itself a choice.

William James

Life by choice, not by chance.

Life is the sum of all your choices.

Albert Camus

Our lives are a series of choices we’ve made so far.  If you want a different result , make different choices.   We have a choice of what kind of life we’ll live and what type of person we are.

I think it’s important that we have no regrets about the choices we’ve made.  None of us are perfect.  We are only human and don’t always make the best of choices, but for good or bad they are our choices.

With every decision we make, we experience consequences which often lead to something new and different that effects our future.  Each person sees the world from a different perspective based on their own experiences.

The doors we open and close each day, decide the lives we live.

I do choose joy!

We may not be able to control the things that happen to us or the things other people say and/or do to us, but we DO have control over how we react to them.

I have had a few regrets with the choices I've made, but that has helped me to make better choices down the road :) Joy is always a good thing to choose!

This is incredibly ironic, Pam! I just returned from visiting with the lady who may - or may not - be my new boss next month. Turns out, her present assistant is waffling whether or not she really wants to leave to pursue a degree … or not.

Couple that with a remark my former boss made yesterday on FB. I'd posted a video from Arizona's awful monsoon and quipped, "Ask me how much I miss Arizona." Jo Anne came back with, "I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen." True, a part of me wishes I'd listened to her and not left Florida … but I always would have wondered, "What if?"

… and I wouldn't have met you and my other bloggy friends. Nope. For better or worse, I'm going to embrace my life.

To do nothing is absolutely a decision!
