Chapter 5, Page 6, Book 18

The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us and we only know them when they’re gone

George Eliot

I believe there are angels among us…

All God’s angels come to us disguised.

James Russell Lowell

Friends, family, and people are like angels in disguise . They lift our spirits and help carry our dreams, with eyes that see the possibility in every new idea.  A true friend stays by your side though the bad and the good.

I believe that God sends just the right people into our lives at the right time.  They may have different personalities and lifestyles and show up just when we need them the most.

I’d like to say Thank You to all the angels in my life.  You make such a difference to me.

Friends are like angles who lift you up when your wings have forgotten how to fly.

This post is endearing. I love the first graphic. And yes it is strange that we sometimes recognize an angel, AFTER they are gone. (sigh)

I too agree that God sends us people in our lives for a variety of reasons, but always at the time we need them, either to help us, us help them, to learn from them, etc.

Yes, angels are definitely all around.
Thank you for being one of mine!

PS - I keep reading and rereading what Jack said. Poignant!

We never ever know when we meet someone or see someone if it is not an angel or Jesus. I love my friends and I am grateful for them and for you!

Many years ago I had a motorcycle. One Friday Inwas off and ride the motorcycle to town.
It was a sunny day and I was in to the ride. On a long straight away I came upon a slow moving log truck. I pulled into the passing lane. Just then, a loaded coal truck behind me was flying and decided to pass at the same time as me. For an instant I was between a slow moving log truck and a fast moving coal truck.
Only and angel could have kept me calm. Six inches in either direction and I would have been under tons of coal or wood.
It left a lasting impression on me.
