Each day brings with it the miracle of a new beginning. Many of the moments ahead will be marvelously disguised as ordinary days, but each one of us has the chance to make something extraordinary out of them.
Day by Day…
What you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while.
There is a lot of truth in what they say about how you live your days is how you spend your life. A lot of what I do is done every day. Every morning I start the day with devotionals and prayer. I always have my good cup of coffee and a donut or two. I write a post for blogger every day, except for the rare occasion when computer problems, illness or tragedy has come my way.
Every day I do something here at home whether it’s cleaning, yard work or time spent on the porch. Home has become one of my favorite places to be.
Every day I tell my family and friends just how much I love them. I send out a daily newsletter to those that have email. Yes, believe it or not one of my friends does not have a computer.
Every day I read a little, write a little and try to squeeze in a little painting time too when I can.
I celebrate every day in some small way, whether it’s a birthday, a holiday or an ordinary day, by making time to make each day extraordinary is some way or another. It might even be by cooking something wonderful, although I do like leftovers too.
Every day I stop to smell the roses by looking at the beauty that is all around me. Every day might not be a good one, but there is something good in every day when you take the time to look for it.
Every day I thank God for all the blessings He provides. I’m much too blessed to ever be stressed.
How we live our days is truly how we live our lives...
Every day in life is a clean slate in which we are given an opportunity to start afresh. It is truly a unique gift.
