Chapter 5, Page 17, Book 18

What’s done is done.  What’s gone is gone.  One of life’s lessons is always moving on.  It’s okay to look back to see how far you’ve come but keep moving forward.

Roy T. Bennett

Life is a precious one way journey.  Move forward

It is always your next move.

Napoleon Hill

Some days its hard to keep moving forward in life.  Some days life can feel overwhelming and you just want to give up.

The more we try to relive the past the less we’re able to o forward. There are no guarantees that everything will come out the way we’d like them.  Outcomes are not controllable but the key is to take courage, listen to your heart, choose your path and then go forward, without looking back.

What is behind you does not define what is ahead of you.  Don’t look back.

If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.

Martin Luther King Jr.

More often than I'd like to admit, yes. I've hoped and prayed to relive the past; perhaps to make different choices. Except I'd have missed out on some beautiful moments.

This reminds me of a sweet verse from one of my mother's books, "With Each Remembrance" (Flavia). "Do not linger too long in yesterday for today may hold wonderful surprises."

It is good to keep moving forward, no matter how small the step we might take to do so. It can be hard sometimes to let go of the past, but it does need to be let go if we do want to keep moving forward.

Amen- Once in a while I wake up overwhelmed before the day even begins. By the time I am showered and dressed I have talked myself into taking things one step at a time....and that helps so much. Hope you have a wonderful upcoming weekend. xo Diana

Oh my goodness - this one sentence says it all: Life is a precious one way journey. Move forward. You just have to let go - let God - and move forward.

I must keep telling myself this:
What is behind you does not define what is ahead of you.

You hit the nail on the head! THANKS

That is awesome advice. There has been times it would have been easier to give up. But my mama preached what you wrote.
