Chapter 5, Page 12, Book 18

Life is one big road with lots of signs.  So when you ride through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind.  Flee from hate, mischief and jealously Don’t bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality.  Wake up and live.

Bob Marley

Signs are everywhere

Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.

Robert H. Schuller

Signs are not destinations.  They may assist us in getting where we’re going, tell how far we come or what to do next, but they’re not intended to be goals in themselves.

A road is one of the best metaphors for life. There are times for speed, times of caution, and time for rest stops.

No two roads will be the same, but many will have similar roadblocks.  Some we’ll see coming, others we won’t.  Both will change our lives forever.

We can’t predict what life will send our way, but being aware of where you’re at will help you to navigate  it.  You must know which roads to take and which roads to avoid.

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same.  Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

Don Williams

Good analogy comparing life to signs. I think like we need to observe and take caution with the signs we see along the road, etc., we need to do the same in living our lives. Lots of times there are signs of danger ahead, we just need to be observant and maybe even alter the course of our lives at times to avoid those situations. Have a great Saturday!

What an enjoyable post!
'Must confess, when I saw your first slide I'd an immediate flashback to the Burma Shave signs we'd spot while on summer road trips. Good memories!
