Chapter 4, Page 13, Book 18

At times it is folly to hasten at other times, to delay.  The wise do everything in its proper time.

I know from experience that hurrier I go the behinder I get.  Knowing that I now live life in the slow lane, in more ways than one, I have to plan my time if I hope to reach my destination on time, or have to get anything done on time.

I’ve learned how long it takes me to do things.  I plan accordingly.

There’s time enough, but none to spare.

Charles W. Chestnutt

Every thing I do, is done better when I take time.  Hurrying gets me no place fast.  My calendar is my faithful companion and keeps me on track.  Sadly I slip some days and find myself scurrying around trying to catch up.  Catching up is not easy at all and will quickly exhaust me.

If I don’t manage my time, it will soon manage me.

One thing you can’t recycle is wasted time

Harold V. Melchert

When we find time for all the things we want and need to do, it helps us decide what which things are urgent and what can wait. It takes a little work, but will make life easier, less stressful, and more meaningful.

Life is good in the slow lane...

You’ll never find time for anything.  If you want time you must make it.

Charles Buxton

How I wish I'd a dollar for every time my dad said, "Haste makes waste." (... and how often I repeat it to myself-- after something's gone amiss!)

These days I've to-do lists all over the place, loosely based on importance. It doesn't get me any closer, but the act of writing things down is strangely comforting.

Enjoyed the visit. The first graphic did me in, love it.
Oh yes and that Buxton quote about making time is a fact!

You certainly find some good ones!
Love it

This quote hits the nail on the head for me today, "If I don’t manage my time, it will soon manage me."
