Chapter 11, Page 17, Book 17

We do not remember days; we remember moments.

Cesare Pavese

Today I am thankful for each moment

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.

Thornton Wilder

The things we like to savor like that first cup of coffee in the morning, or a piece of our favorite pie or maybe the last bit of color in the sky after a breath taking sunset, are all precious moments in our lives.

To savor something is to taste it. To enjoy it completely. To dwell on it.

The concept of boredom entails an inability to use up present moments in a personally fulfilling way.

Wayne Dyer

We each, in our lifetime, have only so many hours to spend, and because we can't anticipate our life span, we will never know how much time we have left. In that sense, every hour is like gold in our hands.   In order to value and treasure our hours, minutes and moments we beed to the saver the happiness we feel each day

Guard well your spare moments.  They are like uncut diamonds.  Discard them and their value will never be known.  Improve them and they will become the brightest gems in a useful life.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

We often let precious moments pass thinking about what life will be like in the future but remember there is no future until we live today.

Savor the precious moments because they refresh us for the road ahead.

If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.

Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Good advice to savor the moments of our days. They do tend to go by so fast.

I like that word, savor!
Tiny - but powerful - moments that so enrich our lives.
