Chapter 10, Page 9, Book 17

Life changes every minute of everyday.
You lose friends.
You gain friends.
You realize your friend wasn’t ever really your friend and the person you used to hate can make a really good friend.
You look for love.
You find love.
You lose love.
You realize all along that you’ve been loved.
You laugh.
You cry.
You laugh so hard that you cry.
You do this, you do that.
You really wish you hadn’t done that.
You then learn from that and you’re glad that you did.
You have your ups.
You have your downs.
You see good movies.
You see bad movies.
You wonder if your life is just a big movie.
You look at others and wish you were them.
You then realize who they are and glad that you’re you.
You love life.
You hate life.

In the end you just find yourself happy to be living life, no matter what’s being thrown at you.

These days my life is changing so fast I can barely keep up.  I try to stay focused on what truly matters, but the ever spiraling ups and downs make it very difficult.  I’m definitely longing for quieter days and a return to normal, but I’m thinking a new normal is presenting itself whether I like it or not.

Life goes on no matter what and I can only try to find the bright side in each day and do the best I can with what I’m given.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I am so with you - in my personal life and my work life things are just so up and down - I look forward to hopefully a peaceful time!

I am hoping your new normal has nothing to do with the health of your sister; I hope she will be making a recovery. So true with the ups and downs of life. Things are changing here too; having to try to stay positive and keep moving forward and trust in God.

That first passage is something! Who among us can't identify on some level.
... and wouldn't it be neat to include in a new graduate's card!

At one time or another we all come face to face with a new normal we must accept. "You look at others and wish you were them. You then realize who they are and glad that you’re you."

Here is hoping you actually get a better 'NEW NORMAL'. But for me, that serenity prayer has been a life saver.
I tell everyone even if not religious, it is great philosophy also!
Just sent a prayer up for you!
