When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place.
Life’s Unexpected blessings
Nearly all the best things that came to me in life have been unexpected, unplanned by me.
Some of life's greatest blessings come unexpectedly, and sometimes from incidental and brief encounters with people we never see again. Sometimes a blessing is not recognized until much later, and sometimes we end up being blessed by an experience which at the time seemed to be anything but a blessing.
Life’s big moments happen unexpectedly. They come out of nowhere and catch you by surprise. They aren’t something that you can create. They can happen when we look at our spouse, child or friend, and realize how empty our lives would be without that person. You can only count them as a blessing and be thankful for them.
This post was inspired by not only the trees that are changing color here, but by a text message I received from one of my nephews who sent a picture of his son with a smile to brighten my day. While the we expect trees to change in the fall. This was an unexpected moment because it happened over night. All the sudden the whole tree changed. The text message was an unexpected blessing and not one I'd expected at all, but it surely did brighten my day.
Be grateful for the tiny details of your life and make room for unexpected and beautiful blessings
