Before you pray,
Before you speak,
Before you spend,
Before you write,

living the good life

Live one day at a time emphasizing ethics rather than rules.

Wayne Dyer

My ethics are the standards governing the conduct by which I live my life.

I do believe and therefore I pray

It is best to listen to what others are saying, than to speak first and make a fool of yourself

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.

Cary Grant

I only spend what I’ve earned.  If I don’t have the cash to pay for something, I do not need it.

I do a lot of thinking before I write something down for anyone to read.  We are what we think.

I’m not a quitter and am always willing keep on trying.  If you don’t try, you will never know how much you can do.

I live one day at a time and do the best I can with what I have to live a full and beautiful life.

Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be.

Those are good ethics to live by; something worth printing out and having close by to remind us of how to live our lives.

Very good ethics, and good advice to share with the rest of us. We all need reminding how to live our lives responsibly for peace and happiness.
Great post!

Those are great ethics. Baring an emergency, DH and I do not buy anything we haven't earned. It's amazing how little we've discovered we really need.
