Chapter 7, Page 11, Book 17

Take time for all things.  Great haste make great waste.

Benjamin Franklin

Life is taking One Little Step at a time.

The Most important decision you will ever make is what do to do with the time that is given to you.

Author Unknown

A busy schedule may rush us, but it doesn’t have to engulf us. Fear may clog our ears, but it doesn’t have to deafen us. Distractions may cloud our vision, but they don’t have to blind us. As one day flows into the next, we need to take time to find the God given beauty in every day.

Nothing valuable can be lost by taking time.

Abraham Lincoln

When you take your time, it means you spend as much time as you need in doing something. No hurry, no rush.  I’ve had to remind myself of that over and over again.  There is no rush here, I can take my time.  I tend to get discouraged because I know not much is getting done at all.

They say if you don’t control your time, someone else will do it for you.  One thing about rushing around is that you end up clouding your ability to judge whether or not something is really important.  When you are rushing everything seems to be an emergency.

Taking time to live and enjoy life will inspire your work even more

By slowing down and taking your time with whatever it is that you are doing, you can pay attention to what’s important.  You’ll make less mistakes and won’t have to do things over and over again.

Like that turtle that won the race.  Slow but sure will get it done!

My mind set is taking it one day at a time.  That’s all I can do.

Champ Bailey

I find when I rush around that is when I make the most mistakes. Slow and steady is the best way.

I agree with Betty, I find myself doing that a lot. LOL
I wish I could always keep my promise to myself about not rushing, but at times I look around and find, yes I forgot again and hear I am about in a tizzy! I MUST continually tell myself in my later years SLOW DOWN!
Good entry lady! Hope you are well...

I can still hear my dad saying, "Haste makes waste." True, that!
I'm really looking forward to not being deadline-driven. It's going to feel strange.

when i'm in a hurry to get something done, i slow it down so i don't make any mistakes. "Distractions may cloud our vision, but they don’t have to blind us."
