That it shall not be just a day,
But last a lifetime through,
The miracle of Christmastime
That brings God close to you

Garnett Ann Schultz

The 3rd day of Christmas… December 27

Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer.

Romans 12:12

It would be wonderful if we could keep those miraculous and precious moments of Christmas alive in our hearts forever, not just one day of the year.  Sad but true for most of us, we forget that every day is a good one, not just the holidays.

My idea of Christmas, whether old fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?

Bob Hope

We are each blessed with the gift of a new day but what we do with whatever comes our way is up to us.  Life is hard, life is tough, but there are many beautiful moments to enjoy if we look for them.

There is hope in every sunrise !

So remember while December
Brings the only Christmas day,
In the year let there be Christmas
In the things you do and say

So true there are many beautiful moments if we will just look for them. Each day indeed is a gift and we can keep the Christmas spirit in our hearts all year long if we allow ourselves to do so.

The graphics on your post are sweet. I keep Xmas up all year around in my family room. Put the tree up over 10 years ago and it's still there. So we are reminded about the holiday spirit evrytime we walk into the room. I always love a sunrise for the exact reason you mentioned.

Bob Hope's statement (or question) is so true. There are folk (such as you) who seem to have mastered the idea. The world would be such a better place if more folk could do that one thing...

Indeed, there is HOPE in every sunrise ... my favorite part of the day! It's like Mr. God is giving us all a "do-over."

Your graphics are adorable, Ma.
