Chapter 8, Page 7, Book 16

So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.

 Marilyn Monroe

August 7th - Keep your chin up

Keep your chin up, we’re not lost yet
Meaning – Remain cheerful in a difficult situation.

It's hard to keep your chin up when everything seems to weigh your head down. There are times we focus on all our strife and forget to look forward to everyday life. But when things are rough and life gets tough, don't give up!

Keep your chin up, sometimes we all need to look up at the sky and forget about our worries, even for a minute of two.  When you’re looking down you won’t see all the beautiful things all around you.

A lot of people don’t even know what it means to keep their chin up. We go about our days and we forget that attitude and ‘how’ we show up for life matters.

You can’t be sad and have your chin up, you can’t be negative and have your chin up. And when your chin is up, it is easy to be happy, and to be positive.

Keep your Chin Up - Life is Sweet !

I like the last line to keep your chin up because indeed life is sweet. Always good to try to have a good attitude.

I wonder how the buttercup came to be associated with "Chin up!" ... but that's a cute saying I hope never goes out of fashion.
Walking from employee parking to my office, it's necessary to look down, making sure I don't step on random pieces of rock, etc. and fall flat on my face (again) ... but I try not to make that a habit.
Wishing you a lovely Sunday!

The view is better with the chin up.

I can see my oldest brother now as he lay in bed, "Watch this, I can smile when it hurts!" And he would smile a real and big smile.

The chin-up guy/gal is hard to beat!

Good advice for today.
