Chapter 6, Page 8, Book 16

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity ... and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.

 William Blake

June 8th - nature lessons

Look on this beautiful world, and read the truth in her fair page.

William Cullen Bryant

Life is wonderful. But some days, stress can really get you down. For the days when you need an extra push to live your best life, remember these incredible life lessons from the natural world.  Sometimes we forget that the world is out there to teach us.

Nature has a way of removing distractions, of commanding our deepest attention. She always has, after all, the last say.

We’re meant to work.  Everything in nature is always moving, always working.

The harder something struggles, the stronger it becomes.  Struggle isn’t a bad thing; it’s the foundation of vitality.

Nature always takes her time. Great oaks don't become great overnight. They also lose a lot of leaves, branches and bark in the process of becoming great.

Andrew Matthews

Nature  is eternal.  The circle of life is real.  Nature is the ultimate equalizer. It bends time into a circle.

Nature reminds us that not all good things do not require money.

And best of all nature thrives on a little kindness, just like us.

Nature finds the good in everything!

The whole secret of the study of nature lies in learning how to use one's eyes.

George Sand

I do enjoy looking out the window at the nature around me. It can be a great stress reliever on some of those hard days at work!

Yes, nature can teach us much, but we first must pay attention. You are so right, there are 'stressful' times, and that is when it would be good to just watch nature.

I embrace nature. Love it. " Nature has a way of removing distractions, of commanding our deepest attention."

Using one's eyes is the most important advice for me.
