Chapter 5, Page 6, Book 16

Life is like an ice cream cone, you have to lick it one day at a time.

Charles M. Schulz

May 6th - One Day at a Time

One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.

Taking one day at a time…  Most of us have enough to handle today without worrying about tomorrow. No one is assured of a tomorrow because God holds the times and seasons in His hand.

When you begin to think about the 'what ifs’, the door opens for fear and worry. Some people worry so much that their worries become fear, and often the things people fear manifest in their life.

Each day is a new opportunity to live your life to the fullest. Do not allow yourself to dread tomorrow. Just know that God is faithful. It is comforting to know that whatever tomorrow may hold, He holds tomorrow.

Remember: It's OK to take it one day at a time, minute by minute or hour by hour.

I’m living each day to the fullest and looking forward to what God has in store for me…one day at a time.

The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.

Dean Acheson

Jesus does even tell us in the Bible not to worry about tomorrow. I know I can be a worrier but I'm trying just to take it one day at a time these days; it is a lot less stressful!

Combine all the comments above, and they are mine.
Good Post, great advice but for some reason some of the hardest advice to follow. However, life is so much better, one hour at a time. (SMILE)

Thanks for the reminder. It's excellent advice.

Been a little rough around here. You offer sage advice. "The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time."
