Chapter 4, Page 11, Book 16

Live life to the fullest, and focus on the positive.

Matt Cameron

April 11th - Living the FULL life

JoyFULL in all
FaithFULL in love
PrayerFULL in work
ThankFULL in everything!

You only live once, and life is tragically short. It’s easy to look at people who are happy and assume they don’t understand your pain. The older you get, the more you realize that happiness takes work. People who smile in public have been through every bit as much as people who cry, frown and scream. They just have the courage and strength to smile through it anyway.

Live life to the fullest. Live a life you will remember. No regrets. Just do it.

I think that we need to remember that at the end of the day, you’re the only person who will be around for every moment of your life. Do what makes you happy. Everything else will fall into place.

Your past is important to learn from. Your future is important to work towards.  But the only thing that exists is the present. So think about your past and future, but only dwell on the present.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. Don’t compromise on your internal code of ethics.  Trust your instincts.  Live every day of your life in full.  Experience the highs and the lows, the positives and the negatives, and all the moods present between the various extremes.  Don’t focus on simply being happy.  Focus on living a well rounded, seasoned life.

Everything in life has to come to an end sometime.  It’s important to acknowledge and accept the end of an era and know when to walk away sensibly when something has reached its conclusion.

Closing the door, turning the page, moving on…it doesn’t matter what you call it; what matters is that you leave the past where it belongs so you can enjoy the life that’s still available to be lived.

Please watch out for each other
and love and forgive everybody
It’s a good life. Enjoy it.

Jim Henson

If everyone followed Jim Henson's advice, we'd all be a lot happier.Without the weight of resentment on your shoulders, you have more time to enjoy the best parts of life.

I believe that we are meant to live fully. AweFULL. BeautyFULL,  CareFULL, DelightFULL, FaithFull, GraceFULL, HopeFull, JoyFULL and MeaningFULL.

How sweet it is !

So true to try to walk around with a smile on your face, no matter what you might be facing. And to live life appreciating all the good in it and if necessary to walk away from that which is causing resentment, bitterness, etc. Life is too short for that, although sometimes we do get caught in the trap of those negative emotions.

Oh yes, another keeper. One that puts the ball out of the park, thanks. WE never know what the other guy has faced, that smile may represent a lot of tough times. I always get a gem here, I don't always mention it. But this gem was not hard to find:

******Everything in life has to come to an end sometime.***************

Thanks, I think we are now headed for spring here, hope you guys are!

Important ideas to remember. I love this quote in particular, " Don’t compromise on your internal code of ethics. Trust your instincts."
